KENNENN(King Doggyman & God Monkey)

ベースレス・ベースミュージックを標榜する、 PsycheとRastaを軸とした異系交配型ユニット。

Psyche and Rasta as their axis, a hybrid unit professing in Bass-less Bass music.

King Doggyman(Gt) God Monkey(Dr,Per) ともに京都アンダーグラウンド・ミュージック・シーンの柱石であり、 この土地の「これまで」と「これから」を体現する者である。

King Doggyman(Gt) and, God Monkey(Dr,Per) are both pillars in the underground music scene of Kyoto. They are the embodiment of the past and future of Kyoto.

「犬」が発するは献身の心。 飽くなきは探究心は、一切の妥協を排し。 三昧の境地に至る様は、まさに忠実なる音の僕。 辿り着く果てはPsycheなる無限の世界。 その純粋なる音像は、聴く者の脳裏にいつまでも共鳴し続ける。

The Dog releases the heart of dedication. It’s endless spirit of enquiry, has cut out all compromise.
From the sight of his reaching to samadhi, it redefines his loyalty to sound. Reaching an infinite world of Psyche. The pure image of sound forever resonates in the minds of those who listen.

「猿」が発するは慈愛の心。 漂泊の楽人として、第三世界を渡り歩き。 包括的な視点で捉えた知見は、彼をRastaへと導いた。 喜怒哀楽、すべてを呑み込んだグルーヴは、 聴く者の誰もを置き去りにせず、いつまでも傍らにあり続ける。

The Monkey releases the heart of benevolence. A gypsy play-man, who has walked the third world.
Knowledge acquired from a comprehensive point of view, lead him to the world of Rasta. A groove that withholds every emotion, does not leave a single listener, but stays by their side.

表裏一体、かつ、一心同体。 彼らが表現する雄々しくも儚い、無常世界の投影のような音像は、 相対的なものが絶対的であり得る一つの証明である。 そして、一隅を照らし続けるその生き様は、後進の者達への確かな灯。 彼らの一挙手一投足、すべてに目が離せない。 今後の奇行が楽しみな稀有なユニットである。

They are two sides of the same coin, as well as each others alter ego. Their manly and fleeting soundscape is as though representing a fluctuating world, which could prove relativity may also be absolute. Without to mention, their attitude to life has always been a leading light for the youth to follow. We can not take our eyes off of these two. A rare unit you can expect eccentricity.
